Really bad films

Yesterday I blogged about watching the film Troll 2 specifically because it’s awful, so much so that it has a documentary about its so-bad-it’s-good status.

It looks like bad films are getting more press. This article at IFC mentions Troll 2, along with some recognised cult-awful films like Plan 9 From Outer Space, and The Room from a few years ago (watch the hilarious trailer here). And it claims that the newest king of the crap heap is a movie called Birdemic: Shock and Terror.

Witness the greatness in the trailer below, which I can only assume contains the best bits of the movie.

How, HOW does Megashark vs. Giant Octopus not end up on that list?

I don’t think that the list is meant to be exhaustive. Besides, MSVGO is made by The Asylum production company, who quite clearly understand that they’re making crap-tastic cash-in films.
