Sculpture by the Sea

Sydney’s Sculpture By The Sea has reportedly been a popular event for some years. I went for the first time (obviously) yesterday. The pieces are installed along the shore path from Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach. You just walk along and admire the large-scale inventiveness. It was good fun (and free!). The walk is impressive enough, as the ocean’s carved a fascinating shoreline. But the hundreds of artworks on show ranged from the silly to the grand to the curious. It runs until Sunday.

Check out just some of the photos I took.
