Half marathon

I’m still running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 11th, and I’m still raising money for Epilepsy Action by doing so.

I’ve broken the £500 mark in my fundraising. If you haven’t yet contributed, why not take a minute and do so right now? Seriously, better services and more public awareness of epilepsy is a really good thing; maybe you know someone with the condition. And running a half marathon for the first time at the age of 40 isn’t an insignificant task.

Here’s how my training is progressing. I’ve missed a couple of days due to illness or work. But I’ve felt strong on the Saturday runs, which are the big ones. I’m no longer worried about whether I can do the half; now it’s about seeing what time I can manage.
