Free netbook!

After the last London Bloggers meetup organiser Andy Bargery brought members’ attention to a contest being held by British Telecom’s new service, BT MyPlace. That service provides tips on places to eat, drink and be entertained in west end London to those with a wi-fi device. The contest was to submit your picks for some of Westminster’s best-kept secrets; if they picked yours for BT MyPlace you’d win an Acer Aspire One netbook.

I submitted several places. I found out this week that they picked two of my suggestions: The Ship and Outsider Tart! So I’m writing this blog entry from a nifty, tiny little computer. Fun!

It is exactly as i thought it would be!
Baterry last for like 4 to 5 hours of hard use!
The keyboard is a litle small, but it works just fine, you get used to it!
The only bad thing is the webcam, could be a 1.3 mpixel! It only 0.3!

Actually, that’s not a photo of my actual netbook, it’s one I nicked off the net. Mine is actually white.

Great little computer. I have a Mac and I didn’t want to carry it around the house and possible damage it. So this little number is great. Small fits in any bag and great for travel. Great buy for the price. And I love the color.

    Great for pre-teens,
This mini- laptop is great for pre-teens before they ask for a bigger more powerful one. It has all the needed features of a laptop. The only set back I would say it has is ths small keyboard, for those who are used to bigger lap tops or desk tops it is a little uncomfortable until you get used to it.
