Beer festival at the Red Lion, Ealing

The Red Lion pub in Ealing, my favourite local, is trying out a mini real ale festival right now. They’ve got 15 ales on tap in the back garden which is a nice setting in any case. I had a few very tasty halves yesterday afternoon, including York Brewery’s Yorkshire Terrier, Kelham Brewery’s Pale Rider (with distinctive North American hops), and Fuller’s chocolately, coffee-noted London Porter.

This is the first time that the Red Lion’s tried this out. It started Friday and runs until Tuesday night, I think. If you’re near Ealing in the next couple of days stop in and try some out. Support local beer experimentation!
