Chateau Lartigolle

Thursday night was my work Christmas do. It was a small affair: some drinks and an Italian meal in Maidenhead. Nevertheless I made the most of it (possibly too much of it). Especially since we had a 4:30am start the next morning.
Getting up at crazy o’clock was worth it, though, since we used it to drive to Gatwick and fly to Toulouse. Yes, we’re once again in that little slice of earthbound paradise that is Chateau Lartigolle, where we got married last year.

Yesterday and today have been a dramatic sixty-to-zero deceleration, a decadent wallowing in foie gras and wine and calves’ liver and armagnac and afternoon naps and no work at all.

There will likely be more gloating. We’re here until Monday evening.
