Skating at the Qype Christmas party

Awesome fun last night. Qype treated those of its members who could make it to the skating rink at the Natural History Museum to an hour on the ice.

I haven’t skated since I left Ottawa nearly eight years ago. It was a hoot, though, despite falling once, and the surface being rather too small to be properly called a “rink”. It’s a wonderfully friendly and festive atmosphere, with twinkly lights suspended in the trees above.

Many of us headed over to the Hoop and Toy pub for a few quick drinks after.

A nice addition to the festive holiday celebrations. Thanks, Qype!
