Summer: better late than never

Thank God it finally warmed up. June and July and August were utter crap in London. But September and October have been unseasonably warm, nearly enough that I don’t feel entirely cheated out of a summer.

I was able to wander Covent Garden and the Waterloo area yesterday, as well as walk from Shepherd’s Bush back to Ealing. Today I’ve been out grocery shopping, had lunch in the sun in the back yard, strolled through the park, and have hit the outside tables at a couple of pubs on Northfields Avenue.
