Sciblogging, eating in the dark, and Dalek plots

I had a good time at the Science Blogging conference yesterday. And after it was over I got to come back to a large dinner party that our neighbours two doors down were holding. It was in the back garden, and quite late, and with little outdoor lighting I wasn’t always sure what I was eating, but it all tasted good.

I met more folks from our street: very nice people all. I was stunned, however, when I learned that one of our neighbours is someone famous enough to have their own Wikipedia entry: Trevor Martin, who played Doctor Who in a 1974 London stage production (and who will be soon reprising an audio version of the play to be released on CD).

That’s pretty cool.
