The seasonal fun has started.

Yesterday we were at the Neighbours for a delicious Christmas lunch of squash soup and fish pie and cheese and mince pies. There were a couple of small kids about so I slipped into uncle mode and tried to give the parents a bit of a break.

Then last night we met PC and the She-Aussie at Bob Bob Ricard, the awesome new restaurant we went to last weekend. It was suitably fun, fancy, and funky for a good meal and a booth in the bar afterwards. The food was incredible, the drinks delicious. It was good to have a holiday night out. A few funny things happened – broken glasses, dropped water, out-of-control A/C – that make me think that BBR is trying just a bit too hard. But they were certainly attentive.
